Each question gives a small penalty for how far off you were — a number is scored by its percentage distance from the real answer; a yes/no by a fixed cost when wrong. Penalties add up, and the smallest total takes first.
The weighting
Bigger questions carry more weight.
Every question has a cap — the most it can cost you — and that cap is its weight. Market-style questions (prices, valuations) carry more; for-fun ones carry less. The host can always adjust it.
